GIA CERTIFIED SINGLE STONES

 

Many companies offer GIA certified diamonds, but very few companies hand-select the best graded and most attractive ones after all the quality checks. Gem International takes pride in the diamonds that are vetted from the thousands of GIA graded rounds and fancy shapes in the manufacturing centers. Not only do we review each stone for its accuracy in grading, but we also make sure that there is a favorable quality to value ratio within the given budget. The majority of our GIA certified inventory is in the .50-10.00 carat size, D-I color, and VS1-SI2 clarity.

MACHINE CUT MELEE

 

When Gem International opened it's NY office in 1977, the only inventory we had was finely cut and assorted melee. This legacy continues with an even more keen eye for fine cutting and maintaining of the most consistent quality control in the industry. Our clients can completely rely on us for the accuracy of their order across size, color, clarity, and cut. The majority of our inventory is in the .005-.35 carat size, E-H color, and VS1-SI2 clarity.

LAB GROWN DIAMONDS

 

Man has finally been able to conquer the scientific barrier in creating one of nature’s oldest gems, the Diamond.  Through the process of HPHT (High Pressure High Temperature) and CVD (Chemical Vapor Deposition, lab grown diamonds are identical in chemical composition to those from the nature.

 

Gem International now brings these beautiful creations to market in white as well as pink, blue, yellow, and orange colors. They are certified by the IGI lab and are available in many of the common diamond shapes. Most of our inventory is in the .50-5.00 carat range.

MACHINE SET DIAMOND WEDDING BANDS

 

Gem International uses our fine machine cut melee to create the timeless channel, bead set, and shared prong bands. We use extruded metal blanks for their high density and very low level of perosity and then have the machine mill and set each one according to specifications.  Each band can be custom ordered by type of metal, diamond size, diamond count, and finger size.

DIAMOND REPAIR & RECUTTING SERVICES

 

Gaining access to the best diamond cutters in the country is one of the big advantages of having an office in the heart of the New York diamond district. We have been able to tap this talent pool and have a 15 cutter crew in 580 5th Ave. that can repair any shape or take a piece of rough to the end product. Our prices are very competitive but our percentage yields are better than most of the industry.
